Hope Resource Center Needs Volunteers!

Calling all LCCM & HOPES Volunteers/ Supporters!

This is the time to turn your big hearts into action.  We desperately need willing individuals or groups to assist in providing emergency shelter volunteers.  The 2 week cycle that we need coverage for is between July 5th and July 18th 2016. A shelter site has already been secured, but volunteers are needed in the following areas:

  • Greeters
  • Check-in Volunteers
  • Evening Volunteers
  • Overnight Volunteers

If you are able to assist us in any of the above vacancies, please contact: Matt Snavely by email, matthew@lccm.us or call, (717) 272-4400 ext. 223

Your willingness to give of your time will ensure continuous coverage of the emergency shelter.  This is experience will be directly rewarding and fulfilling.  Lend us a helping hand today.

US Postal Service Food Drive
LCCM wants to thank the United States Postal Service for

their recent May 14th Food Drive to benefit our local food

bank!  The food that we received is a huge boost to our pantry

stores and will go a long way toward helping those in need.

Golf Outing 2016

LCCM's 2016 Golf Tourney turned out to be one of the nicest days of May! God blessed us with "75 and Sunny"!
Preliminary numbers suggest that we raised over $21,000 to benefit our Summer Food Program. Everyone in attendance enjoyed the food, fun, and fellowship. A big "Thank You" to everyone that helped to make this event happen. 30 foursomes came together to support this endeavor to ensure that children all over the city will have a nutritious lunch when school lets out.

Annual LCCM Box City Event

Join us for our 4th Annual Box City Event!
This is another opportunity to raise the awareness for the homelessness situation within our County, and to fellowship together while making lasting memories.  We hope that you will  participate again, this year!  If you are new to the festivities....."WELCOME!"
